19th Century Adams-Style Jasper Ware Relief Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, A finely molded 19th century stoneware pitcher featuring classical white bas-relief figural scenes of cherubs and scrolling foliage set against a rich blue Jasper-style band. The upper neck is ribbed and accented with a bold black band, with additional black delineation throughout. The pitcher’s body shows impressed linear ribbing near the base, a squared handle with molded knot detail, and an unmarked foot, consistent with English production of the mid-late 1800s (likely Adams, Chetham & Woolley) The classical medallions depict playful putti in pastoral scenes, echoing Wedgwood blue & white Jasperware but executed in glazed stoneware rather than dry-body ceramic. A substantial and well-crafted example. MEASURES APPROX. 8 1/2" HIGH, 9 1/2" WIDE, Good overall condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, Condition as seen in photos provided
