DECORATIVE GERMAN PORCELAIN WALL PLATES (4) Beautiful selection of four German-themed porcelain plates, all high-quality artistic renderings celebrating Germany and various German cities and landmarks. Three nicely marked porcelain plates showing blue-toned artistic renderings, one, a 10.5 in. dia. plate marked 'SCHWAB - Sammelteller 1980 Nr. 956' is of 'Goldschmiedehaus Hanau', two others, 9.5 in. dia. marked 'SCHWAB - Sammelteller 1984 Nr. 1875' showing 'Frankfurter Römer'; and 'SCHWAB - Sammelteller 1986 Nr. 1259' of 'Schloss Lembeck im Munsterland'; lastly, a 9.5 in. dia. plate, in a brown-toned screen printed image of Langen Germany's famous landmark, the Vierröhrenbrunnen (Four-pipe fountain), which was built in 1553 in Renaissance style, with the script 'Langen/Hessen Vierrchrenbrunnen von 1553' on the front, also on the back with German scrip outlining the history, this one marked 'Ak KAISER W GERMANY' for the respected porcelain manufacturer founded in Coburg by August Alboth in 1872; Four collectors plates sold as a lot. Very fine condition.
