Late 19th/early 20th century, Sevres, France, underglaze signature to base ''Milet'' for Paul Milet (1870-1950), further marked ''64'' and incised ''24'', signature on body partially obscured by silver overlay ''???vost'', the mount with first standard Minerva mark denoting .950 fineness and illegible maker's mark, with a flaring waved mouth above the silver-clad shoulders relief-decorated with poppies, the baluster-form vase enameled and hand-painted with yellow and purple poppies on a green ground, clad within a conformingly decorated silver base raised on an undulating rocaille foot, 9.75'' H x 4'' Dia., est: $1500/2500.
