Modernist Sorbet Bowl With Spoon by Ian Ferguson, Esteemed West Australian Silversmith. Incorporating glass, jade and sterling silver. The glass bowl has been etched and is suspended via four glass rods, which have silver fittings and are capped with jade balls; the base of the rods is fitted to a Jade tile 10.5 x 10.5cm that has silver corner fittings to form the base. An inspired creative design. Stamped 925 and ITF. H: 8.5cm. The spoon in sterling silver and copper. Stamped 925 and date mark with the letter R indicating the year 1991. L: 16.5cm. Weight: 27.5 grams.
