CONNECTICUT/MASSACHUSETTS, b.1949 An astrological contemporary art glass charger by Josh Simpson. As part of his New Mexico glass series, Simpson drew influence from observing blue light created from Cherenkov radiation. The work is an example of Simpson's ability to manipulate glass and create an image as if observed in space. The underside bears a ground and polished pontil signed "Simpson" and dated "1995".
