Venice Biennale in 1952 Tall conical shape ending in a slim neck and thicker mouth Height: 26.5 cm Very good condition The vase with multilayer thick walls exemplifies the adventuresome Italian master glassblower Estimate by Auctionata Expert: 4,000 Euro Giulio Radi was the director of the glass manufactory A.VE.M from 1939 to 1952. During this period he developed a technique called ‘Reazione policroma’ in Italian where he experimented with the expansion of silver and gold foil as well as several layers of thick glass. Also Nason took up the technique in the 1960s in his series ‘Yokohama’. Condition: The vase is in very good condition. It is 26.5 cm in height.
