This listing is for a rare Moser Alexandrit or Alexandrite "Sovereign" cameo frieze vase. Measures 10 1/4" high with top diameter of 6" and base diameter of 3 3/4". This beautiful vase has a heavy facet cut crystal body with gilt "Sovereign" cameo frieze band decorated in the "Amazon Warrior" motif designed by Leo Moser in 1914. "Alexandrite" glass is a reactive glass that changes colors in different light. It has a beautiful lavender color in natural light and changes to a distinct aquamarine blue under fluorescent light. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Signed "Moser" on the side of the base.
