The Muranese glass art has a century-long history and has been steadily advanced by innovative glass-blowers. Fulvio Bianconi used the tessere technique where differently colored glass pieces were fused. The most difficult part of this work is to keep the squared form of these pieces while blowing the vase. This is a characteristic of the outstanding Muranese glass craft. The particular vase was produced by Venini & C. in 1992. It is made of the characteristic colors red, green, blue and topaz. The vase is marked 'venini 92 Fulvio Bianconi' and has a manufacturer's label. Its height is 24 cm. It is in very good condition.
