Genre scene.- 25 copperplate engravings from F. Petrarca's 'Nova Philotheca Petrarchiana...', engraved by Eberhard Kieser. Frankfurt, Unckel, 1620. Each approx. 12 x 16 cm.- The sheets feature scenic depictions and mostly floral borders, as well as titles and mottos in German and Latin, such as 'On the powers and strength of the body, how they are so futile and no armor against death', 'That eloquence often leads to wailing and murder', 'On the amusement of the foolish'. Mostly slightly stained (fingerprints or stick marks) , occasionally with small tears in the margins.- Original description in German: Genreszene.- 25 Kupferstichblätter aus F. Petrarcas 'Nova Philotheca Petrarchiana...', gestochen von Eberhard Kieser. Frankfurt, Unckel, 1620. Jeweils ca. 12 x 16 cm.- Die Blätter mit szenischen Darstellungen und meist floraler Bordüre sowie mit Titel und Sinnspruch in Deutsch und Latein wie u.a. 'Von den kräften und stärcke des Leibs, wie die so gar nichtig und kein Pantzer für den Todt hilfft', 'Daß aus wohlredenheit offt iammer und mordt erfolge', 'Von kurtzweil der Schalcksnarren'.- Meist etwas (finger- oder stock-) fleckig, vereinzelt mit kleinen Randeinrissen.
