AD 800 - 1000 A pair of silver plaited bracelets, including, from left to right: an open bracelet formed from interlinked rounded rods plaited into a broad band with plain, tapering cylindrical terminals; and a closed bracelet formed from a thick round rod twisted into a cable, the ends overlapping and encircled by tightly wound wire.
