Ca. AD 600 - 800 A collection of three terracotta incantation bowls, each of shallow conical form with a rounded base and plain rim, the interiors with Aramaic script spiralling towards the centre. Size: 60-65mm x 153-173mm; Weight: 826g. Provenance: From the collection of a London gentleman; formerly acquired in early 2000s in Japan; previously in 1970s Japanese collection.
