AD 1000 - 1300 A collection of three inscribed trays, including, from left to right: a circular tray with a central roundel engraved with al-Buraq within a band of cursive inscription and with further calligraphy and roundels to the exterior; a tray with a medallion showing a striding bird framed by an interlace inscription band; and a smaller tray with a central roundel depicting a winged feline surrounded by inscription panels alternating with roundels enclosing birds and an outer band of calligraphy to the exterior. Size: 150-180mm x 25-35mm; Weight: 1.39kg. Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market since the 1970s. For similar see: V.
