AD 1500 - 1800 A steel horse neck defence (crinet) formed as a series of 10 overlapping, riveted lames, each embossed at the centre with a drop motif; with mail edging suspended along the sides and lower margin. Size: 620mm x 210mm; Weight: 2kg. Provenance: Property of an Oxfordshire art professional; previously in an old British collection, formed in the 1980s on the UK / International art markets.
