An original Black History Slavery related historic document measuring 5" x 7" framed to fully 11" x 9" being an original Sheriff's Arrest Warrant Judicial Order from a Tennessee court for the offense of "Selling Liquor to a Slave". Modern professionally matted and framed using acid-free materials and special UV, protective Tru Vue Plexiglas. The reverse of the document is pasted to its reverse on the frame a copy showing the docketing. Overall, clean and easily readable with light tone and an ink smudge on the date at lower right.
