Bobby Nganjmira (Aboriginal Australian 1915–1992), ochre on bark painting of “Luma Luma". In folklore, Luma Luma came from the east traveling over the country that now belongs to the Kunwinjku Tribe. He carried with him sacred carved images of the barramundi, mackerel and goanna. The myth of Luma Luma forms the basis of important ceremonies, dances and body designs. Measures 60"H x 24"W.
