The prominent chin is decorated with a braided cord where three rattan balls are attached. Verso shows a net-like braided line, which was probably used for the fastening. The forehead is decorated with shining copper plates and the surface has a beautiful dark patina. The bridge of the nose and the area above the eyes were originally adorned by small abruspearls. The eyes and mouth are open-worked so that the sharp teeth are visible. The mask is in very good condition with slight age-related traces of use. It has a beautiful, dark patina. Most of the pearls are broken out. The measurements are 23 x 12.5 cm (height x width). It is presented on a recent metal stand.
