(Russian Federation, America, France, Africa 1887-1938). From his travels to Africa. One title "Chief Tuba". Signed in plate Nigeria, 1925. (Original was done in charcoal, watercolor and gouache.) Both signed and identified in the plate with date of 1925. Originals executed during his exhibition to the Sahara Desert and Africa. Images 14" x 10 ½". From 1934 to 1937, he served as Director of the Painting Department of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He returned to Paris and died in Paris in 1938. Both framed under glass with matching mats and frames.
