Large studio art pottery stoneware floor jar / vessel by Karen Karnes (1925-2016) American. Features a circular body and modernist landscape lid with a salt glazed surface. Measures 16" x 11 1/4". Signed KK on base. Good overall condition. Note due to the size of this vessel there are some firing flaws that can be seen from the interior. This is not considered damage and would have been sold by the artist with these in mind, consistent with intent. In house, Hill Auction Gallery continental USA domestic shipping $125 plus insurance.
