Song (Sung) Dynasty, 960-1279 AD, Kuan or Ge ware greyish - celadon crackle glaze large brush washer. Side walls with slight flare, base with 20 spur points and older dealer tags for Roland Moore, New York, and Blitz, Amsterdam. Measures 2.25" h. x 10" dia. Sold with older typed letter proclaiming the piece was purchased in 1940 at a exhibition of Chinese Arts in New York. Condition: Glaze flaws to base and interior. No crack or repairs noted under black light.
