Fine antique Italian Majolica (Maiolica) albarello apothecary jar, the jar features a scene of Saint Martin dividing his cloak for a poor beggar and is signed with the mark of Certosa di San Martino in Naples, and dated 1702. A similar Albarello can be found in the Museo Nazionale Napoli. The front of the jar also has the phrase “Vng De Tria Sandal” for Sandalwood ungent.. Height 9 Inches (24.7 cm) Width 7 Inches (19.0 cm)
