Watts (Tennessee, 20th century), H9 1/2" (3pcs) Exhibitions: Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham, Alabama: Social Reform: Women and Pottery in the Arts and Crafts Movement Other Notes: A Charlotte native, self-taught pottery Edith Harwell maintained a studio in the basement of the Mint Museum. She alse retailed her pieces through the museum before moving with her husband and fellow potter Converse to Fairhope, Alabama in 1938.
