These two slabs depict some creature in Navajo mythology and folklore. They were created for ceremonial or ritual purpose. Titled and signed verso: 1. Mother Earth, from the womb it brings fertility to all living things. 2. Father Sky on the body it shows stars, moon and Milky Way. Frank Bogay likely Navajo.
