Our Country and it's People (Circa 1940) The watercolor with mixed media on paper is titled lower center within the image and attributed to the St. Louis artist who worked as a commercial artist in Saint Louis during the winter and painted in Taos during the summer. The Veiled Prophet Parade and Ball was a yearly ceremony in St. Louis over which a mythical figure called the Veiled Prophet presided. Image measures 12 x 20 with a framed size of 22 x 30 inches. 2. Spirit of '76 (Circa 1932) Watercolor with mixed media titled lower center within the image, attributed to the artist verso with a gallery label. Image measures 12 x 21 with a framed size of 22 x 30.5 inches. Measurements are included in the description.
