Shapes of houses are implied. The work is signed and titled on its back. Work and frame are in good condition with signs of age and wear. Framed it measures 63.5 x 63.5 cm (height x width). The hardboard measures 61 x 61 cm. (lez) Muraina Oyelami Muraina Oyelami was born 1940 in Iragbiji in Nigeria. He studied at the famous Oshogbo Art School initiated by Professor Ulli Beier and his wife Georgina. Oyelami has exhibited his work and performed traditional and fusion music throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and USA. He already was Guest of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland, Artist in Residence and Fellow of the National Black Theatre in Harlem, New York and Guest Professor in African Studies at the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
