Ugo Nespolo (Italian, b. 1941). "Untitled", acrylic on inlaid handmade paper, signed lower right. Abstract painted collage with many geometric forms cut from the visible surface, painted in vibrant tones of blue, yellow, orange, brown, purple, and black, and inlaid back into the original very thick white handmade paper in four columns depicting a lamb or goat, a "man in the moon" crescent moon, a fountain pen over cascading ink, a human face, and a diaper patterned bottle or decanter, the work mounted to a black wood board within an acrylic shadowbox. Shadowbox approximately 32" x 43.75". Work approximately 27.5" x 38.5".
