The sheet-sized image measures 135.5 x 260 cm. Enzo Cucchi (b. 1949) Enzo Cucchi discovered his artistic talent, when assisting a Florentine restorer. He eventually became a self-trained artist and moved to Rome in the mid-1970s. he did not follow the popular Postminimalism, but approached the archaic and highly emotional style of the ‘Transavanguardia’. In 1980 Cucchi was represented at the ‘Aperto 80’ in Venice. His artistic output does not only include paintings, but also sculptures, drawings and stage designs. Cucchi exhibited his works in many solo and group exhibitions, e.g. at the Hamburger Kunsthalle, the documenta 7 in Kassel and the Musée Correr in Bergamo.
