The portrait was rendered in a reduced visual language with a few precise strokes. Some points of the nude were highlighted in colors. Since the mid-1960s, Ungerer created erotic drawings of the high society in New York and thereby referred to the contraction between unbridled sexuality and pretended prudery. The reverse of the mat is in part illegibly inscribed with pencil '**Ungerer/Zürich'. The work is attached to a white cardboard to the corners. It is mounted under a green mat in a black wooden frame with glazing. The condition is good with a light discoloration of the paper within the mat-cutout and minor signs of wear affecting the frame.
