Vintage Gretsch Astro-Jet solid body electric guitar, USA, circa mid-1960s, finished in red lacquer with a contrasting black pickguard. The instrument features dual Gretsch single-coil pickups stamped with U.S. patent numbers, an adjustable bridge, vibrato tailpiece, and standard tone and volume control layout. The headstock is marked with the Gretsch logo, and the serial number 27314 is stamped on the back. The guitar is housed in a fitted Gretsch hard case and is accompanied by original purchase documentation from Gruhn Guitars, Inc., Nashville, Tennessee, dated July 3, 1986, providing provenance and enhancing collectability. The guitar measures approximately 40" x 14.5" x 2", and the case measures approximately 43.5" x 17" x 4". Condition: Fair overall vintage condition, with moderate to mild surface wear, finish checking, scratches, patina, and oxidation to the hardware consistent with age and use. Electronics and functionality not tested. The case shows wear and patina consistent with age.
