dating: circa 1600 provenance: North Italy, Straight, double-edged blade with a central fuller extending for almost its entire length, with the signature ‘SEBASTINA HERNAN’; ricasso with a crescent-shaped mark outlined at the edges. Double-bar iron hilt with, three-quillon guard with curl at the edges. Pommel shaped as a truncated cone. The counter-guard with three loop guards. Grip with very fine 19th-century wire binding. length 125.5 cm.
