dating: 17th Century provenance: Tuscany, Short, straight, double-edged blade of diamond section, featuring a large mark at the base. Iron hilt with typical double quillons curved toward the blade, the front with a broad knuckle-guard decorated with grooves, oval slightly faceted pommel, and thumb ring on the back side. Wooden grip with metal wire binding; the upper ring nut is missing. length 86 cm.
