A ceremonial brass shield with intricate relief work, possibly from the Mughal or post-Mughal era, or even from the Deccan or Rajasthan regions. The imagery at the center shows a mythological or epic combat scene, possibly from the Ramayana or Mahabharata. The stylized figures, elaborate borders, and decorative motifs (such as floral patterns and mythological beings) are consistent with Indian metalwork, especially in ceremonial or decorative objects from the 17th to 19th centuries.
