Cochet, standing robed female turning her back on the horrors of war, which include a vampire bat, tanks and howitzers, while holding a dove of Peace in her right hand and regarding a naked baby lying in a Moses basket, rev . ship of Paris surrounded by the flags of the U.S. France, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain and the Soviet Union, edge impressed lxix, bronze and cornucopia, 99mm, 465.55g (CGMP p.410; Paris Exh. Cat. 1965, 168; cf. WAG e122, 366; cf . DNW 38, 855). Minor edge nicks, otherwise very fine, rare £80-£100 --- Provenance: Bt Simmons September 2002 Edition of 200 in bronze. The Paris Peace Conference of 1946, which ran from 29 July to 15 October and in which peace treaties were ratified between Allied powers and former Axis allies in eastern Europe, was ratified on 10 February 1947
