This is a box sextant made by T. Cooke of York. It is marked "WD " with the broad arrow or "crows foot" up and down S/N 8663. This instrument was used before electronic navigation. The broad arrow denoted ownership by the British military. It is complete with leather carry case and the inside cover with tangents. Careful reassembly is required when reboxing.
