Scarce first American edition (first appeared in England the year prior), sheets printed by Unwin in London, with cancel title bearing Four Seas Boston imprint. The author was a central figure of the Imagist movement and one of the foremost English war poets. He drew on his service in the First Word War to produce the present work. His Images of War captures the disillusionment and stark realities of modern mechanized conflict, aligning him with contemporaries such as Siegfried Sassoon and Wilfred Owen.
