EXTRAORDINARY, MAGNIFICENT, Set of 4 (pcs) Lang Shining (郎世寧; 19 July 1688-17 July 1766) aka Giuseppe Castiglione (Italian, 1688-1766) Chinese Qing Dynasty watercolor on silk, hanging scrolls. A masterpiece hand painting combined elements with Western art of shading and atmospheric perspective, imparting a sense of realism, depicted a man with group of horses beneath shading pine tree. Signed by the artist, Lang Shining, followed with iron-red signature seals. Mounted on pale-yellow silk border.
