SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS One Sheet (27" x 41"); Style A ; Very Fine Folded Paramount, 1941 Beautiful, blonde Veronica Lake shows who's boss on this "Style A" one sheet from writer/director Preston Sturges' classic screwball comedy co-starring Joel McCrea. This example is folded in excellent condition and displays a few additional folds above the top horizontal fold along the left side, general fold wear with light cross-fold separation, and very minor border wear with sporadic light stains and a few tiny edge nicks. For collectors who prize unrestored, unbacked examples of classic vintage movie posters, this is the one to have. "Sullivan's Travels" is a comedy written and directed by Preston Sturges. A satire of Hollywood, it follows a famous comedy director (Joel McCrea) who, eager to make a socially meaningful drama, sets out to experience life as a tramp. Along the way, he is joined by a struggling actress (Veronica Lake). The title references Jonathan Swift's 1726 satirical novel, "Gulliver's Travels," another story of self-discovery.
