A vintage French lithographic poster issued for a Laurel and Hardy film called in French La Festival de Joie. Designed by Boris Grinsson, Russian, 1907 to 1999. Signed in the print, lower left. Marked in the print, Mondial Film, lower to the center. marked in the print, Imp. Harfort Paris, lower right. Laurel and Hardy were for a time the best known comedy duet in film. With a filmography of over 100 films, and classic skits which continue to entertain. Cirrca: 1940s. Boris Grinsson was a French illustrator of Russian origin, author of more than 2 000 film posters.
