George Barris, famous celebrity photographer really became famous for his work with Marilyn Monroe. 3 separate photo-shoots including live on the set of "The Seven-Year Itch" in 1954, again on Santa Monica Beach in 1962 and sadly Barris took the last known photograph of Marilyn on July 13, 1962 while working on his book Marilyn: Her Life In Her Own Words. This is one of the most famous and gorgeous images of Marilyn ever taken, with a glowing, authentic smile that sadly, was not a common occurrence for the oft-troubled star.
