Yves Thos (French, b. 1935), Au Service Secret de Sa Majeste, offset lithograph in colours, 1969, Eon/United Artists, on two sheets h:314 w:119 cm Other Notes: George Lazenby famously decided not to sign for the Bond series part way through the filming of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, hence his name is not mentioned on the poster. The poster, designed by French artist Yves Thos, looks back at the stance of Sean Connery in "You Only Live Twice" with skis in place of the space helmet. The film, set in Switzerland, includes the classic Bond ski chase with Olympic champion Willy Bogner being filmed skiing backwards. Blofeld's mountaintop hideout was filmed at the half-completed revolving restaurant on Mount Schilthorn before production paid for its completion. Louis Armstrong sung the wedding theme, 'We have all the time in the world' - for Diana Rigg as the new Mrs Bond. For Lazenby's career as Bond, time, sadly, was all too short for both of them.
