Artist: JULES CHÉRET (1836-1932) Size: 33 3/4 x 48 3/8 in./85.6 x 122.7 cm Imp. Chaix, Paris Félicia Mallet was an accomplished singer, acrobat, and actress, perhaps most famous for her role in the inaugural performance of Sardou's La Tosca alongside Sarah Bernhardt. She was also a frequent understudy for Yvette Guilbert, and is featured in at least two posters by Chéret (the other being Scaramouche, see LXI, 223).
