Artist: JULES CHÉRET (1896-1932) Size: 34 5/8 x 48 7/8 in./88 x 124 cm Imp. Chaix, Paris From 1892 through at least 1899, Chéret created a dozen or so posters for the Théâtre de l'Opéra's seasonal masked balls. This design, used repeatedly throughout the 1894 season, promotes the third masquerade, a veritable winter wonderland of dancing and entertainment.
