COLLECTION CARROLL THAYER BERRY PHOTOS & PAPERS - Collection of Original Photos by Rockport, Maine Artist Carroll Thayer Berry (ME, 1886-1978), including (30) 8" x 10" black & white photos, (10) 11" x 14" photos, all unmounted; (4) large mounted, all of the Rockport and Camden, Maine area; PLUS (4) 11" x 14" mounted photos of CTB working,; PLUS letters to Bradbury M. Prescott of Franklin, NH,, whose collection this was; PLUS a copy of 'The Down East Printmaker - Carroll Thayer Berry', by Evelyn Dearborn, Downeast Books, Camden, ME, 1973, signed by the author, in a slipcase, number 9 of 250 printed on rag paper and custom bound, contains four loose Christmas card block prints by CTB; PLUS Two original woodblocks from his prints (one is carved on both sides), copies of his bio and that of his wife and fellow artist Janet Scott Berry, PLUS original watercolor of harbor scene and cover design for 'Downeast' magazine by JSB, all in good, clean condition.
