York Safe & Lock Company was established in 1882 in York, Pennsylvania. The "Cannonball" safe has a Sargent & Greenleaf 3-Dial mechanical time lock, marked G79. The inside of the main door has a keyed door to access the time lock. Safe has most of the original paint and is marked "Trade National Bank". Overall measures approximately 49-1/4" tall x 30" deep x 28" across. Has time lock key, no combination. Comes on wheels, very heavy.
