Circa mid to late 1800's Herring & Company New York Strong Box. The box has wood sides with a heavy cast iron frame. Marked on the inside of the lid. Appears to be in original condition, lock works, but is missing the key. Overall measures approximately 18-1/2" tall x 18-3/4" deep x 38" across. Very heavy safe.
