The Ice House by Minette Walters Published in 1992 London by Macmillan as part of the Crime Case Series. First issue of the first edition. Very Good copy in a very good publisher's proof dustwrapper. This publisher's proof has both the male and female faces on the front panel. The female face is missing from later copies. Also on the front flap and written in red marker are the words 'See Front Cover'. On the rear cover in a red marker box is written 'Add back panel copy very big' and underneath this is written ' The ICE HOUSE 'Startingly, Compulsively readable.' Colin Dexter'. This is the author's first crime fiction book and is signed by her on the title page
