A small group of endorsed or signed photographs. Jamison was the artistic director of the Alvin Ailey dance company. There is a close 10 x 6 inch portrait of her, boldly endorsed. The verso has the Ailey label and indicates Jack Mitchell as the photographer. It has a small area of loss. Ann Sokolow was a choreographer work was socially oriented. She helped the development of modern dance in Mexico and Israel. A 12 x 16 inch photograph of the dance company in rehearsal has damage on the margins and some rough areas on the image. There is a 10 x 8 inch portrait, and a 7 ½ inch one, both endorsed on the recto, and a 9 ½ x 8 inch portrait of her in a dance pose, with “Case History” in pencil on the verso. These three are without damage.
