Finely carved bamboo and horn gourd vase, Qing Dynasty. The main body carved in low relief with lotus blosoms, foliate scrolling and key-fret borders. The intricately-carved horn panels depicting an intermingling of grapes, grapevines and squirrels. The mouth and base reinforced by plain polished horn plates.
