WESSELMANN, Tom (1931-2004). Collection of seven letters from Tom Wesselmann to Jan Cremer. 1. Autograph Letter Signed, dated sept. 3, one-sided A4, folded three times. Friendly letter: "[...] I don't like my work used for other purposes, including book covers, but YOUR book I was willing to do it [...]"; 2. Handwritten signed check from Jan Cremer for Tom Wesselmann, dated nov 1 1968, for the amount of $8,50; 3. 2 x A.L.S. to Jan and Panchita, dated 12/11/68 and Nov 24, doublesided A4, folded twice with memories of their visit; 4. A.L.S. to Jan and Panchita, dated 12/11/69, 1 page of an unlined notebook 15 x 10 cm. Wesselmann shall send Cremer a silk screen, the price will be one signed copy of 'Ik Jan Cremer II'. 5. Typed Letter Signed, dated 'June 24 1972' one-sided, folded twice, with name and two corrections in pen. With the envelope. Friendly letter: "You sound incredibly active"; Added: one other T.L.S., dated Oct 10 1979 with the envelope and an A.L.S. from Claire Wesselmann to Babette Sijmons, dated may 1990, with the envelope, on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Jan. Good condition. (Letter 1 and 4 with perforation holes).
