Signed in bold black fountain pen ink with her name alone to the lower border; Thea von Harbou (1888-1954) German Actress, wrote the screenplay for Metropolis, the 1927 science fiction film directed by her husband Fritz Lang. Vintage signed sepia postcard photograph of von Harbou in a half length pose holding a small black dog. Signed in bold, dark fountain pen ink across a light area at the base of the image, also adding the dog´s name in her hand. Dated 13th February 1927 in her hand, the same year that she collaborated on Metropolis; Elisabeth Bergner (1897-1986) Austro-Hungarian Actress, starred in German films before moving to London in the 1930s.
