A Vintage Brass Ship’s Bell, on mahogany shaped mount, the bell marked “S D Eager” and dated 1912, (The Eager was launched by Cochrane & Sons in Selby in 1912 for Sidney Allterton of Lowestoft (managing owner), was requisitioned for war service as a mine sweeper in 1914 and then went through various owners, finally being sold in 1963 The Gamashie Fishing and Marketing Co in Ghana and sadly sunk in 1972), 14” high
